The Greenhouse 2017

We had space against the back wall of our garage and whilst re- organising the garden for raised beds and less lawn we wanted a greenhouse.

Tom measured the space and created a perfect greenhouse that is aesthetically pleasing, carefully constructed and bespoke. It makes the best use of the space available and constructed of cedar timber that smelt delicious. It gently took shape and Tom could appreciate and interpret my vision and I am now happily cropping tomatoes, cucumbers and chillies .It has a cool door shape and magic self opening windows and came complete with a water butt which has been very useful. We had a great service – on budget, in a timely manner and are delighted with the end result.

We have employed Tom to carry out three separate projects for us:-

1. Design and build a wooden log store,complete with tiled roof.
2. Design and build a cedar cold frame to our specifications
3. Lay approximately 75 metres of predominantly English Elm Hedge( with a little Holly and Privet)

Tom is a true craftsman,taking care that his finished work is practical and aesthetically pleasing.

As a bonus Tom is an engaging and knowledgeable young man,especially about country matters

Tom built our log store which accommodates about 6 tonnes of logs. The structure is attractive whilst being strongly constructed and reasonably priced.

I needed some advice on building a solid wood framed and tiled garden building/office for myself and Tom was excellent. He suggested design, sourced materials and worked with great detail and precision and all within my budget ! I’m delighted with the results.
